Review of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco
San Francisco is well-known to attract travelers from around the world. This very multicultural city is very famous for its openness, for its historical buildings and architecture, its numerous conference centers, the multitude of attractions and things to see, for its openness to the gay community, in summary, San Francisco is a place you ought to see and visit at least one time your life.
This is my review of the Marriott Marquis, located at the edge of the financial district, in the heart of what San Francisco has best to offer in terms of shopping. Although the hotel itself feels a little bit outdated, despite some remodeling in the last year, this hotel is very conveniently located, and offers impeccable service, where everybody in the staff will make you feel welcomed.
A trip to the View Bar on the 39th floor is worth a stop, simply for the outstanding view of the area.
Although the area is very safe, it can look somewhat edgy at night. Fortunately, the hotel is located only a few blocks away from some major streets, with an abundance of stores and crowds.
The hotel itself is somewhat pricey, but it is to be expected, because of its good location and service. Of course, like for most hotels, you will find better deals on weekends.
If you've heard about San Fran, you probably know that it is also one of the most city to visit or to live in. Fortunately, you don't have to resolve to stay in a scruffy motel to keep your travel lodging expenses within your budget. Find more information about lodging in SF below.
